WORKSHOPS FOR ORGANIZATIONS
PEACE OF MIND
CORE SERIES
Over 41 million working adults in the US are taking on eldercare responsibilities in a culture that does not talk openly about aging or death.
BUILDING PEACE OF MIND
Peace of Mind Planning is a differentiated offering that supports your employees by leading them through the practicalities of end-of-life preparation while also covering how to navigate these topics with parents and older loved ones.
PRACTICAL PLANNING REDUCES STRESS AND UNCERTAINTY
We tackle the sensitive questions about what to prepare beyond a will or estate plan, and alleviate the anxiety that comes with facing these questions for the first time in a moment of crisis.
REAL CONVERSATIONS FOSTER A CULTURE OF TRUST AND ENGAGEMENT
Hosting the workshop showcases a work environment in which the realities of life—aging, caregiving, death—don’t have to be invisible.
About CORE SERIES
This four-part series leads employees through the completion of their own personal end-of-life paperwork. By the end of the series, participants will have finished their advance directive and organizational life file, as well as having engaged in thought-provoking conversations about their own legacy. In our final session, we facilitate an interactive discussion about navigating these topics with elderly loved ones and the challenges of caregiving.
WHAT WE ADDRESS
“A Good Death”
What does a “good death” mean to you? How an Advance Directive can help you have agency over your health care decisions.
Celebrating and remembering you
What are new, more eco-friendly, options for disposing of your remains; what kind of celebration would best represent and honor your life?
Getting your affairs in order
Take care of some personal organizational tasks to help your loved ones when you die.
Hard conversations and caregiving
We’ll give you some tips on how to approach the conversations, and a map of things you’ll want to cover. We’ll also facilitate a conversation about the challenges, fears, and joys of caregiving.
