WORKSHOPS For INDIVIDUALS
A Four-Week Workshop Series
Peace of Mind Planning is a four-part interactive workshop that combines practical planning and end-of-life paperwork with thoughtful discussion, reflection on our mortality, and guidance on how we can best support those we will leave behind.
By planning now, you can ensure your family won't be scrambling when the time comes, making life easier for those grieving your loss.
We’ll provide resources and instruction on completing your Advance Directive, wishes for body disposition, memorial celebration, and your own Life File. We’ll also give you tools to facilitate conversations and planning with your older loved ones, as well as guidance if you find yourself in the role of a caregiver.
Who will benefit from this workshop?
You have a will, an estate plan or neither, but you know there’s more to think about when exiting this world than just how and where you’ll pass on your physical belongings.
You want to support your parents or other older loved ones with their end-of-life planning and needs, but you're not sure where to begin or how to talk with them about it.
Jen and Karen take a compassionate approach to exploring one of life's most challenging subjects: death. Their professionalism and deep expertise allowed participants to navigate both the complexity and reality of dying, while learning how to plan and prepare for the end of life.

Frequently Asked QUESTIONS
-
Yes! Being prepared at any age is important. Anyone over the age of 18 should have some form of advanced directive/wishes documentation. Important biological and account information should always be readily accessible to family members/next of kin so that they are not left searching for this information while also grieving.
-
Absolutely. Whether you have an estate planning lawyer and/or a financial planner, this class is still pertinent as we address things outside the scope of legal and financial planning such as end of life wishes and disposition.
-
We understand, life is busy. We do ask if you are unable to attend the first session that you wait until the next series. If you can’t make one of the others, we’ll share pertinent info for you to complete tasks on your own.
